Below is the official partner pricing from BenQ Medical Center. Use this table to understand which procedure fits your eye condition.
*Prices are partner rates from BenQ Medical Center. Final cost depends on pre-op exam.*
| Surgery Type | Price (USD) | Best For | Key Feature |
| SMILE | $2,900 – $3,000 | Corneal thickness ≥ 480μm, myopia ≤ 1000°, astigmatism ≤ 500° | 2-4mm small incision. No flap. Lowest dry eye risk. Suitable for athletes |
| LASIK | $2,600 – $2,800 | Corneal thickness ≥ 480μm, myopia ≤ 1200°, astigmatism ≤ 600° | Flap created. Fastest recovery. Customizable for night driving |
| ICL | $5,900 – $8,000 | Thin corneas (< 480μm), dry eye, high myopia up to 1800° | Reversible. No corneal removal. Best for high prescriptions |
How to Choose: Detailed Comparison
### SMILE — The “Athlete’s Choice”
– **Incision size**: 2-4mm — much smaller than LASIK
– **How it works**: Creates a small lens inside the cornea and removes it through a micro-incision
– **Corneal thickness required**: ≥ 480μm
– **Best for**: Patients who play sports, fear dry eye, or want the most minimally invasive option
– **Why choose this**: No flap displacement risk. Preserves corneal stability. Lower dry eye rate.
### LASIK — The “All-Rounder”
– **How it works**: Creates a corneal flap, then uses laser to reshape the cornea
– **Corneal thickness required**: ≥ 480μm
– **Best for**: Patients with higher astigmatism (up to 600°) or those who need very fast visual recovery
– **Why choose this**: Corrects a wider range than SMILE. Recovery is typically very comfortable.
### ICL — The “High-End/Thin Cornea Solution”
– **How it works**: Implants a contact lens inside the eye without cutting the cornea
– **Corneal thickness required**: No minimum requirement. Suitable even if cornea is < 480μm
– **Best for**: Patients with **thin corneas**, **high myopia (>1000°)**, or **severe dry eye**
– **Why choose this**: **Reversible** (can be taken out). Best night vision quality. Does not cause dry eye.
